Bayer brings more than 25-years of sales experience to the company’s corporate staff.
Prior to joining Jackson Hotel Management, Bayer served as Director of Sales of the award-winning Holiday Inn & Suites Front Royal Blue Ridge Shadows and Regional Director of Sales for Navika Capital Group. In the Director of Sales role, she provided sales, marketing, and revenue management leadership for the entire resort; including the 18-hole championship golf club with event space and grill, 196-seat franchised restaurant, over 5000 square feet of meeting space, and 124-room franchised hotel. Further, in her Regional Director of Sales role, she led the sales and revenue management teams at all mid-Atlantic properties for Navika. Bayer has an award-winning record as Director of Sales. She is a three-time winner of the IHG Best of the Best 'Holiday Inn Director of Sales of the Year' award. This award is the highest achievement within the IHG family of brands. Winners are selected based on performance that goes above and beyond normal job responsibilities and by providing outstanding or unique service to the property, to the guests, and to the community. UPDATE: 5/14/2020: The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ocean City is re-opening on Friday May 15, 2020, and both Ocean City hotels will be taking business from all guests who choose to safely visit Ocean City. ------ UPDATE: 4/3/2020: Based on the recommendation of the Ocean City Mayor's office, we have decided to temporarily close the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ocean City effective today. The Comfort Inn Gold Coast in Ocean City will remain open and available to essential travelers only. We look forward to our leisure travelers returning soon, but for now we will only accept essential business in Ocean City, MD. ------ As we all face the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jackson Hotel Management would like to share that our full portfolio of hotels remains open for business. Our teams are here to help anyone in Virginia or Maryland that might need a place to stay, work, or rest; including medical professionals and other first responders working to reduce the impact of COVID-19, and industrial crews working to keep major infrastructure projects moving forward. All of our hotels are offering flexible cancellation policies. The public area renovations began this week at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ocean City in Ocean City, MD. The lobby, breakfast area, and great room flooring upgrades are in progress; as are the upgrades to the front desk and lobby convenience store. It is a small first step in a big "Formula Blue" project, but we are excited for our guests to see and experience all the changes we have in store for them.
