The hotel and staff earn the 2024 Spirit of True Hospitality award for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences 
 
Ocean City, MD (February 27, 2025) – IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies with more than 6,600 global properties across 19 brands, today honors Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ocean City-Northside and its team with the 2024 Spirit of True Hospitality Excellence Award for their outstanding achievements and commitment to upholding IHG’s mission to deliver “True Hospitality for Good” every day. 
 
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ocean City-Northside is one of 696 Performance Awards honorees selected among the organization’s nearly 4,500 regional hotels spanning the United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin America and South America. More specifically, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ocean City-Northside received the 2024 Spirit of True Hospitality Excellence award, given to IHG hotels that have achieved “elite” status and received cleanliness survey scores of at least 90.

Prior to joining Jackson Hotel Management, Bayer served as Director of Sales of the award-winning Holiday Inn & Suites Front Royal Blue Ridge Shadows and Regional Director of Sales for Navika Capital Group.  In the Director of Sales role, she provided sales, marketing, and revenue management leadership for the entire resort; including the 18-hole championship golf club with event space and grill, 196-seat franchised restaurant, over 5000 square feet of meeting space, and 124-room franchised hotel. Further, in her Regional Director of Sales role, she led the sales and revenue management teams at all mid-Atlantic properties for Navika.

​Bayer has an award-winning record as Director of Sales.  She is a three-time winner of the IHG Best of the Best 'Holiday Inn Director of Sales of the Year' award. This award is the highest achievement within the IHG family of brands. New Clarion Pointe Hotel Opens in Harrisonburg, VA
 
Harrisonburg, VA, November 4, 2019 – Harrisonburg Inn LP and Jackson Hotel Management announce the opening of Clarion Pointe Harrisonburg. The new 101-room Clarion Pointe hotel is located at 1440 East Market Street in Harrisonburg, VA.  The hotel was previously named Comfort Inn Harrisonburg and subsequently received a full renovation as part of the conversion to the Clarion Pointe brand.
 
Clarion Pointe Harrisonburg is the sixth Clarion Pointe to open globally, with an estimated fifty hotels in the pipeline.
