Jackson Hotel Management Cares
The safety and well-being of the employees and guests of our hotels is a priority; especially now. We are following CDC, state, local, and brand guidelines to ensure we all stay safe and can go home healthy.
This is why Jackson Hotel Management is proud to endorse the American Hotel and Lodging Association’s (AHLA) Safe Stay initiative. Safe Stay represents a new level of focus for an industry already committed to cleanliness. It is an industry-wide enhanced standard of health and safety protocols, crafted by an advisory board in accordance with CDC guidelines, to meet the needs of the current public health crisis. Safe Stay is designed to prepare America's hotels to safely welcome back guests and employees as the economy reopens.

Extreme Clean
We are following all applicable brand requirements and using products on the EPA's list for use against SARS-CoV-2 to clean and disinfect our hotels.
- We will spend extra time cleaning and sanitizing in advance of your arrival and our staff will avoid entering a room that has been cleaned. We will replenish amenities, linen, and terry upon request, but will not be providing daily in-room cleaning services.
- Our disinfectant products meet EPA criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
- We have added additional cleaning staff and have increased the frequency of deep cleaning and disinfecting surfaces of high touch areas throughout the day, including but not limited to elevator buttons, door knobs, trash-receptacles, luggage carts, and seating areas.
- After checkout, rooms are sanitized following industry and/or brand recommended cleaning procedures with particular attention paid to disinfecting high touch surfaces.
- If you need extra linen/towels, please contact the front desk and they will be provided in a sanitary manner.
- All laundry will be washed and sanitized using appropriate chemicals and the hottest appropriate water setting as recommended by the CDC.
- Employees have been trained to sanitize their work areas and any shared tools/equipment before, during and after each shift or anytime the equipment is transferred to another employee.
- Hand sanitizer is available at all elevator landings and near the front desk.
Socially Distant
We have clearly defined social distancing layouts and contactless service throughout our hotels. All employees are wearing masks to stop the spread and we ask that our customers do the same.
- We have asked our team members to discontinue handshaking and use non-contact methods of greeting.
- Every employee is required to wear a mask while on property and use gloves if whatever they are handling may come in direct contact with guests. All employees have been provided training on proper usage and disposal of such items.
- Employees have also been asked to practice physical distancing whenever possible.
- In areas where there is high traffic, we have added floor markings and signage so our guests know where to stand to comply with physical distancing.
- We ask you utilize the phone to call us while on property in order to reduce face-to-face contact with our staff as much as possible.
- All meeting and banquet set ups will allow for physical distancing between guests. After every event, the room will be cleaned and disinfected.
- Signage is posted to inform guests to wait for the next empty elevator if an elevator is occupied.
- We ask all guests to utilize stairs whenever possible.
Training and Testing
All employees, in all departments, have been trained on COVID-19 and the enhanced cleaning protocols. All employees are screened for symptoms of COVID-19 before work each day.
- Our employees, in all departments, have undergone specific COVID-19 training to ensure the highest levels of safety.
- Employees have been trained to wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer every 60 minutes and immediately after any of the following activities: using the restroom, touching the face, cleaning, sweeping, mopping, smoking, eating, drinking, after removing any personal protective equipment, going on break and before or after starting a shift.
- Employees must have their temperature checked before entering the workplace. If an employee is showing symptoms of COVID-19 such as a fever, cough or shortness of breath, they have been advised to NOT come to work.
